Research by King's College London:72% of British women change pregnancy plans due to epidemic, 28% of second-time mothers ready to abort despite corona

Many British women have changed their pregnancy planning due to complications during the epidemic. This is known after researching 500 women in Britain. Not only that, but in Europe, parts of Asia, and the United States, the birth rate dropped. In many countries, fewer babies were born in December 2020 and January 2021. The reason is the growing corona effect. The couples involved in this research are the same ones who were serious about family planning before the epidemic.

Lead author of the Department of Women and Children's Health at King's College London, Dr. According to Sara White, our team was shocked to see that many couples were planning a family, but now 72% of women have canceled their plans due to the Corona period. Many women feared that the corona could have a negative effect on their health or that of their unborn child.

Women who wanted to be mothers for a second or third time had different ideas than women who had conceived the first time. 28% of second-time mothers wanted to change their pregnancy plan because of Corona. The women of this group are doing work from home and she believes that by staying at home, they will be able to give time to the children along with the work even after delivery.
